Savisto Case Study
Step 1 The Brief
To build brand awareness, provide fresh content for existing followers and attract new fans, kitchen and lifestyle brand, Savisto, required video content to be used across its website and social media channels, namely YouTube and Facebook.
Step 2 Our Approach
With the recent boom in home cooking and popularity of cooking shows and online recipe videos, a decision was made early on to produce a range of recipe / cook-along videos.
As the Savisto brand is focussed heavily on kitchen utensils and accessories, recipe videos could be used to showcase products, while capitalising on the growing online demand for recipes. Having interviewed and found the perfect presenter-cook for the videos, we set out creating simple recipes, scripts and storyboards for the shoots.
To keep videos concise, entertaining and informative, our video production team utilised wide angle and close up shots and techniques including timelapse to thoroughly explain instructions and show results.
Raw footage was then edited to cut scenes, insert transition effects and input backing music. Annotations were also included at the request of Savisto to link to other videos.
Videos were then rendered and uploaded directly to YouTube, with MP4 copies provided for use on Facebook and Twitter.
Step 3 The Results
Savisto’s recipe videos have contributed to the brand’s growing reputation and online following. At under 03:30 in length, each video is easily digestible and perfectly suited to social media audiences across YouTube and Facebook.
Videos have helped the brand achieve its objectives of increased brand awareness and social following.
